Master molds for RCC car seats

CHALLENGE

Lusomotors is a custom car seating manufacturer from Portugal. The company aimed to improve the product development of RCC car seats by using 3D printing to increase quality and standardisation.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

We helped Lusomotors:

• Create 2 large master molds that can be replicated with high precision (less than 0.2 millimetres).
• Increase scalability by automating a manual process through a custom 3D printer.
• Cut production time from 2 months to 2 weeks.
