Large piece for embankment dam

CHALLENGE

Dam&Dike Care is a project that studies and prevents dam and dike failure. The challenge was to build a component with 1.5 meters for a dam using additive manufacturing (3D Printing).

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

We helped Dam&Dike Care:

• Prototype and print a large piece with 1.5 meters for a embankment dam.
• Print 16 kilograms in one month with low risk.
• Apply the concept of collaborative printing using a 3D printer with 6 heads.
